Today’s tales from the canal bank include;
A fisherman taking his rabbit with him. He was sitting on the canal side, tending to the rod and line whilst next to him in a pet carrier was a black and white fluffy rabbit sitting quietly (I am assuming it was his).
Two young lads in canoes playing some form of canoe polo having hung their home made goal from the bridge at Kirkstall.
Two blokes pulling a barge along – “cos engine’s knackered, innit”… if it wasn’t theirs it was an extremely arduous theft.
My foot slipping off the front of the pedal so the pedal slammed into the back of my leg and now I look like some blunt-toothed predator took a passing interest in my calf muscle.
